General Availability for Streaming Analytics clusters

This release includes the General Availability for Streaming Analytics cluster definitions. The Streaming Analytics templates include Flink, Zookeeper, HDFS and YARN. There are four template options available:
  • Streaming Analytics Light Duty for AWS
  • Streaming Analytics Light Duty for Azure
  • Streaming Analytics Heavy Duty for AWS
  • Streaming Analytics Heavy Duty for Azure

Streaming Analytics offers real-time stream processing and stream analytics with low-latency and high-scaling capabilities powered by Apache Flink.

The Streaming Analytics templates offer Apache Flink that works out of the box in a secured environment on CDP Public Cloud.

Security-related header controls in Schema Registry responses

The following HTTP headers appear in Schema Registry HTTP responses to provide security-related restrictions and instructions to the browser:
  • Content-Security-Policy
  • XSS-Protection
  • X-Frame options
  • Content-Type-Options
  • Cache-control

Security-related header controls in SMM REST API server responses

The following HTTP headers appear in SMM REST API HTTP responses to provide security-related restrictions and instructions to the browser:
  • Strict-Transport-Security
  • Cache-Control

The following HTTP headers appear in SMM UI server HTTP responses to provide security-related restrictions and instructions to the browser:

Disabled TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 in SMM UI

TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 are now disabled in SMM UI.
