Fixed Issues in Apache Kafka

Review the list of Kafka issues that are resolved in Cloudera Runtime 7.1.6.

CDPD-16683: Support consumer offset sync across clusters in MM 2.0 (KAFKA-9076 backport)

OPSAPS-58492: Automatic Ranger service creation for Kafka is incomplete

The cruisecontrol user is added to the policy template that Kafka uses for creating resource based services in Ranger. As a result, Cruise Control can access Kafka by default without user configuration.

OPSAPS-59031: Kafka cannot start if configuration is added to the Kafka Broker Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) for ssl.properties

This issue is resolved.

OPSAPS-59124: Kafka, SMM, and SRM fail to start when there are multiple Ranger Admin roles running

Kafka can now correctly create the required resource based services in Ranger even if there are multiple Ranger Admin roles configured in the cluster.
