Start the NFS Gateway services

Learn how to start the NFS Gateway services.

Perform the following steps to start the NFS Gateway:

In the Cloudera Manager Admin Console, go to Clusters > HDFS service.
Navigate to the Instances tab and search for the NFS Gateway.
Select Start from the Actions for Selected dropdown menu.

The NFS Gateway log file directory is configured by the property NFS Gateway Log Directory. For example, if NFS Gateway Log Directory is configured as /var/log/hadoop-hdfs and the NFS Gateway runs on host host1.example.com, the log file would be /var/log/hadoop-hdfs/hadoop-hdfs-hdfs-nfs3-host1.example.com.out.

Verify the validity of the NFS services.
