Setting up S3 connector

Learn about how to set up the Ozone S3 connector.

Sign in to Cloudera Manager.
Navigate to Clusters > Hive > Configurations tab.
Store the Hive s3 credentials under /hadoop-conf/core-site.xml or /yarn-conf/core-site.xml only.
note
- These credentials will not be distributed to any other services.
- The credentials will be encrypted and obfuscated.
- An additional service S3 connector will be added to the cluster and will be linked to CORE_SETTINGS. You can unlink the S3 connector to undistribute the credentials from Hive and Impala.
