Removing Accumulo 1.10.3

You must remove Accumulo 1.10.3 installed on your CDP cluster before upgrading the Accumulo service.

  • You must stop all the ongoing administrative operations before you remove the Accumulo service.
  • Make a note of all the non-default configurations before starting the upgrade process.
  1. Run the root@accumulo> fate print command to check for any Fault Tolerant Executor (FATE) transactions.
  2. Run the root@accumulo> fate delete <transaction id> command to remove such transactions.
    Ensure tablet servers and the master are healthy.
  3. Log in to Cloudera Manager > Clusters > Accumulo
  4. Click Actions > Stop.
  5. Click Configuration.
  6. Check all the parameters under the Configuration tab and and identify and note down any non-default settings. This information is required when you add the Accumulo service to your cluster.
  7. Click Instances. Identify and note down the role assignments. This information is required when you add the Accumulo service to your cluster.
  8. Click Cloudera Manager > Clusters.
  9. Click > Delete.
