Disable the Firewall

To install the trial Cloudera Base on premises software, you must disable the firewall on each node in your cluster.

  1. For iptables, save the existing rule set: 
    sudo iptables-save > ~/firewall.rules
  2. Disable the firewall.
    • RHEL 7: 
      sudo systemctl disable firewalld
sudo systemctl stop firewalld
    • SLES: 
      sudo chkconfig SuSEfirewall2_setup off
sudo chkconfig SuSEfirewall2_init off
sudo rcSuSEfirewall2 stop
    • Ubuntu: 
      sudo service ufw stop
