Deleting a Containerized Cluster

Procedure to delete a Containerized Cluster and its hosts.

  1. Log in to the Cloudera Manager Admin Console.
  2. Go the status page of the Containerized cluster.
  3. Stop the ECS service. (Click the Actions menu next to the ECS service and select Stop.)
  4. Stop the Docker Service. (Click the Actions menu and select Stop.)
  5. Stop the Containerized Cluster. (Click the Actions menu next to the cluster name and select Stop.)
  6. Delete the Containerized Cluster. (Click the Actions menu next to the cluster name and select Delete.)
  7. Click the Hosts link for the Containerized Cluster.
  8. Select the hosts containing the ECS roles.
  9. Click Actions for Selected > Remove From Cluster.
  10. Select the hosts (again) containing the ECS roles.
  11. Click Actions for Selected > Remove From Cloudera Manager.
