Model based on workload characteristics
You can optimize performance and cost by modeling based on workload characteristics.
This modelling factor can yield complex authorization policies and reporting/chargeback/showback. As an example, you can place all workloads requiring a consistent, but high level of concurrency on one Virtual Warehouse, which is not set to autoscale. And then you can place all workloads that are more inconsistent, but occasionally consume a very large amount of resources into a smaller Virtual Warehouse with an aggressive autoscale configuration.
