Migrate Workloads

Data migration refers to moving existing CDP, CDH, or HDP workloads to CDP Private Cloud Base. You typically start with Workload Manager or Replication Manager to migrate Hive data. Then you’ll adapt your processes, data, rules, and configuration settings for Data Warehouse, Operational Database, Machine Learning, Streaming, DataFlow, Security and Governance, and other areas. At each step, you’ll need to understand the relevant semantic and behavioral differences between the source and destination component versions, and then adjust your migration plans accordingly.
