Prerequisites

Before you begin, review the following prerequisites and requirements.

The following requirements must be met before creating Cloudera Private Links Network:

• Each environment must have its own private links configured.
• The private links should be set up before creating an environment.
• Configuring private links in Cloudera can only be performed through Cloudera CLI. You need to have the Beta Cloudera CLI installed and configured. See Installing Beta Cloudera CLI.
• In order to configure private links in Cloudera through Cloudera CLI, you must have the EnvironmentCreator or PowerUser role in Cloudera.
