If you would like to use Private Azure Marketplace with Cloudera, there are some manual configuration steps you need
to do as a prerequisite.
If you would like to use Private Azure Marketplace with Cloudera, perform the following steps outside the
context of Cloudera.
Assign Marketplace Admin role in the scope of Private Azure Marketplace
for your admin user through the Microsoft Azure portal. For more information,
see Assign the Marketplace admin role with access control (IAM) in
the Microsoft Azure documentation linked below in the Related
information.
With the same user, create ("Get") Private Azure Marketplace. For more
information, see Create private Azure Marketplace.
(Optional) Create a new collection.
Add at least the following items to the collection:
Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Freeipa
Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) 7.x.xx
Make sure the collection is enabled.
Make sure the collection scope contains the deployment's subscription.
Set Private Marketplace status to Private
Marketplace enabled.
Launch environments, Data Lakes, or Cloudera Data Hub clusters
as desired.
