Manage and monitor Ranger replication policies

After you create a Ranger replication policy in , you can monitor Ranger replication policies by viewing job progress and replication logs.

The Replication Policies page displays a row of information for each replication policy, including the following columns:

  • ID – The internally generated ID for the replication policy. Click the column label to sort the list.
  • Name – The name you provide during replication policy creation.
  • Type-– Replication policy type.
  • Source – The source cluster.
  • Destination – The destination cluster.
  • Progress– The progress of the current replication job.
  • Completed – The timestamp when the last job finished.
  • Next Run – The timestamp for the next scheduled job.

The Actions menu provides the following options:

Show History
Click to open the Replication History page for a replication policy. The page displays information such as the replication policy name, type, source cluster name, destination cluster name, and the timestamp of the next run of the replication policy job.
Edit Configuration
Click to change the replication policy options as required.
Run Now
Click to initiate the replication policy job.
Collect Diagnostic Data
Generates a diagnostic bundle for the replication policy. You can download the bundle as a ZIP file to your machine.

Ensure that you are logged into the instances for both the source and target clusters before you download the bundle in Replication Manager.

Disable | Enable
Click to disable or enable the replication policy respectively. No further replications are scheduled for disabled replication policies.
Delete
Click to remove the replication policy permanently from Replication Manager.
