Assigning policies to agent classes

Access control can be managed on the agent class level through the Agent Classes tab of the Administration page.

  1. Click Administration in the Cloudera Edge Management UI.
    The Administration page appears.
  2. Go to Agent Classes tab.

    List of agent classes with number of deployed agents appears.



    You can manage user or group level assignments for a specific agent class.
  3. Click the edit icon beside the class you want to modify.
    The class dialog appears.


  4. Click New Policy.
    The New Policy page appears.
  5. Select a user or user group for the agent class.


  6. Select a role for the user or user group.


    You can assign multiple roles to a user or group for the same class.

  7. Click Apply to save changes.
