The processor supports equality deletes which may not be supported yet by other compute engines on CDP. It means that in case of delete operations, the files created by the processor may not be readable by engines like Hive, Spark, and so on. You should check the documentation of the compute engine you'd like to use to confirm if equality delete files are supported or not.
