Platform, OS, and Environment Support

Cloudera Manager 7.13.1 and its cumulative hotfixes remove support for several operating systems, databases, Python versions, and Java Development Kits (JDKs). To ensure a successful upgrade, verify that your environment meets these new requirements.

Cloudera Manager 7.13.1 CHF8 (7.13.1.800)

Database Support
The following databases are removed and no longer supported from the Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.800 release:
  • PostgreSQL 13
  • MariaDB 10.5
Operating System
The following operating systems are deprecated from the Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.800 release:
  • RHEL 8.8
  • RHEL 9.1
  • RHEL 9.3
  • SLES 15 SP5
The following operating systems are removed and no longer supported from the Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.800 release:
  • SLES 15 SP4
  • Ubuntu 20.04
Python Support
Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.800 limits Python compatibility to modern versions, and now only supports Python 3.11. Consequently, Cloudera has:
  • Removed support for Python 3.8

  • Removed support for Python 3.9

  • Removed support for Python 3.10

Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.0

Database Support
The following databases are removed and no longer supported from the Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.0 release:
  • PostgreSQL 12
  • MariaDB 10.4
  • MySQL 5.7
Operating System
The following operating systems are removed and no longer supported from the Cloudera Manager 7.13.1.0 release:
  • RHEL 8.6
  • RHEL 7.9
  • RHEL 7.9 (FIPS)
  • CentOS 7.9
  • SLES 12 SP5
