Notification service overview

You can subscribe to receive announcements and notifications in Cloudera Data Engineering about various events from product updates to data service specific alerts. Announcements and notifications are received in the application or through emails.

The Notification Service integration in Cloudera Data Engineering enables centralized, automated alerts for key lifecycle and configuration events occurring at both the Cloudera Data Engineering Service and the Cloudera Data Engineering Virtual Clusters.

By connecting Cloudera Data Engineering event triggers to the Cloudera Management Console Notification engine, you can receive:

• Platform announcements: End of Life (EOL), End of Support (EOS), Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), and maintenance updates.
• Real-time alerts: Service provisioning, resource changes, upgrade statuses, and certificate expirations.
