These issues might have been reported in previous versions of Cloudera Data Engineering on premises as a known issue; meaning they were reported by customers or identified by Cloudera Quality Engineering teams.
- DEX-17241: Unable to submit pipeline job
- Previously, the
runPipelineoperation required creating new resources throughPOST /api/v1/resources. But, the authorisation rules did not permit pipelines service to access resource management endpoints. This issue is now fixed. - DEX-15429: Data connectors jobs are failing with
UNKNOWN: Channel Pipeline: [ProtocolNegotiators$ProxyProtocolNegotiationHandler#0, WriteBufferingAndExceptionHandler#0error in the proxy setup - Previously, all the jobs for data connectors were failing
with the
UNKNOWN: Channel Pipeline: [ProtocolNegotiators$ProxyProtocolNegotiationHandler#0, WriteBufferingAndExceptionHandler#0error message in the setup. This issue is now fixed. - DEX-17197: Cloudera Data Engineering job and DAG runs - Different components or log types for the same job are recorded in different time zones
- Previously, when the job run submitter event logs were stored in the database, it was converted to UTC time. This caused inconsistency when every other log and pod log were in a custom timezone, but the submitter logs were in UTC. This issue is now fixed.
- DEX-17791: Multiple workload usernames in the
dex_acl.acl_actorstable that have the same name but differ only in case cause violations - Previously, duplicate users in Cloudera that vary only in case sensitivity in their names could create complications with role assignment, which hindered the effective operation of any Cloudera Data Engineering role. This issue is now fixed.
- DEX-15472: Script-based upgrade fails if SAML authentication is enabled
- Previously, script-based upgrades failed if SAML authentication was enabled in the Cloudera Control Plane. This issue is now fixed.
- DEX-16604: Disable settting ACL fields in CLI and API for OpenShift Container Platform
- Artifact Sharing ACLs parameters provided to the workloads will be ignored for OpenShift Container Platform until they start supporting it.
