Fixed issues in Cloudera Data Engineering on premises 1.5.5 SP2 CHF1
Fixed issues for Cloudera Data Engineering on premises 1.5.5 SP2 resolve identified bugs and service-level defects previously logged through Cloudera Support or identified by Quality Engineering.
- DEX-20313: While running an Airflow job, updating the job
computeConfigurationcauses job run failures - Previously, Airflow jobs failed with a
context cancelederror because a regression triggered an unnecessary internal job update during every run. This update timed out for jobs with large DAGs, particularly when external HTTP clients with short timeout windows initiated the runs. This issue is now fixed by eliminating the unnecessary updates. - DEX-19498: Intermittent access loss for users with roles granted through group membership during workload ACL synchronization
- Previously, users and machine users with group-based Cloudera Data Engineering roles experienced intermittent access loss during workload ACL synchronization. This issue is now fixed.
- DEX-20562: UI timeouts due to unoptimized backend calls
- Previously, you could experience UI timeouts due to unoptimized backend calls. This issue has been fixed now. It improves the performance of the Virtual Cluster details API in Cloudera Data Engineering on premises and removes redundant authorization calls, resulting in faster response times when loading Virtual Cluster details.
