Cloudera Data Engineering 1.25.2-H1 service introduces behavioral updates, provides resolutions for identified bugs, and identifies unresolved behaviors with their documented workarounds for Cloudera on cloud.

This release does not introduce new features, but provides fixes for identified bugs.

DEX-20271: Entitlement-based enablement (DE_ENABLE_VC_SUSPEND_RESUME) of the VC Level Suspend Resume

Previously, the VC Level Suspend and Resume functionality was dependent on the entitlement-based enablement. This issue is fixed and the entitlement check for VC Level Suspend and Resume (DE_ENABLE_VC_SUSPEND_RESUME) has been removed from Cloudera Data Engineering and the functionality for Virtual Clusters is now always available by default.

DEX-20277: Diagnostics bundles are not downloading in the Microsoft Azure environment for workload versions 1.25.0 or earlier

Previously, the diagnostics bundles were not being downloaded in the Microsoft Azure environment for workload versions 1.25.0 or earlier. This issue is now fixed.

DEX-20303: Airflow Job runs fail with the context canceled error in the logs

Previously, Airflow Job Runs were failing with the context canceled error in the logs due to low timeout configured in the external client that used to invoke job runs. This was causing an intermittent failure of the Cloudera Data Engineering jobs. This issue is now fixed.
