Cloudera Runtime repo specification
You can specify a custom version of Cloudera Runtime on the "Image Settings" page of the advanced create cluster wizard, under "Cloudera Runtime Repo Specification".
By default, Data Hub uses the included prewarmed images with default Cloudera Manager and Cloudera Runtime version. If you would like to use a custom Cloudera Runtime version:
- In the create cluster wizard, click on Advanced.
- Navigate to the Image Settings page.
- Under Choose image type, select to use a base image and then select a specific base image to use.
- Provide the following information under Cloudera Runtime repo specification:
|Version||This information is populated by default based on the “Platform Version” parameter (which in turn is derived from available cluster templates). This means that in order to change the value of this parameter, you must provide an appropriate cluster template.||7.0.0|
|Name||This information is populated by default based on the “Platform” parameter (which in turn is derived from available cluster templates). This means that in order to change the value of this parameter, you must provide an appropriate cluster template.||CDP|
|Parcel URL||Provide a URL to the Cloudera Runtime version repo that you would like to use. Cloudera Runtime version 7.x or newer are supported.||http://cloudera-build-us-west-1.vpc.cloudera.com/s3/build/1237780/cdh/7.x/parcels/|
If you choose to use a base image with custom Cloudera Manager and/or Cloudera Runtime version, Data Hub validates the information entered. When Data Hub detects that the information entered is incorrect, it displays a warning marked with the sign. You should review all the warnings before proceeding and make sure that the information that you entered is correct. If you choose to proceed in spite of the warnings, check “Ignore repository warnings”.
