Deleting an application

It is very simple to delete an application in Cloudera Data Visualization when it is no longer needed or if you want to remove outdated or duplicate content from your workspace.

Click VISUALS in the main navigation bar.
Select the app that you want to delete.

The action buttons in the top-right corner of the preview area are updated, and the Delete button becomes active.

The Delete button is only active if you select at least one artifact in the preview area.
Click Delete.
You can also use the Suppmental menu of the app tile and select Delete from there.

The Delete Visual Artifacts modal appears.
In this example, the Sample App is selected.
Type DELETE in the text box to confirm the action and click Delete.
The Delete Confirmation modal appears.

After the deletion is complete, Cloudera Data Visualization refreshes the Apps view in the VISUALS interface. The deleted app is no longer available.
