Using parameters with explicit scope

This setting protects the visual from being changed by dataset scope filters.

When enabled, parameters are only applied to the datasets or visuals explicitly defined by the user. This prevents unintended parameter application across unrelated datasets, ensuring more precise control.
  1. On the right side of Visual Designer, click Settings.
  2. In the Settings menu, click Parameters.
  3. To set the explicit scope for a specific visual, select Use parameters with explicit scope.
