Commenting on visuals and dashboards [Technical Preview]
The Comments panel in Cloudera Data Visualization allows you to add feedback or insights and ask questions directly within dashboards and visuals. Comments can be added at either the dashboard level or the visual level, making it easier to share context-specific insights.
Commenting makes collaboration with other users easier by keeping discussions in context, without switching to external tools. Each comment includes the author and a timestamp, ensuring traceability and accountability. You can reply to the comments added by other users, so discussion threads keep conversations organized and easy to follow.
By default, commenting on visuals and dashboards is disabled. To use this feature, an administrator must first enable it in Site Settings. For details, see Enable commenting.
