Downloading dashboards and sheets as PDF files

You can save your dashboards and individual sheets as PDF files in Cloudera Data Visualization. The name of the downloaded file reflects the name of the dashboard and includes a timestamp indicating when the file was created.

Additional details:
  • Custom JavaScript visual snapshots are supported only only if written in ECMAScript 5.
  • PNG download is not supported on Windows platforms.
Before you download the visual as a PDF file, make sure the download feature is enabled in site settings. For instructions, see Snapshots in Managing dashboard site settings.
  1. In the Dashboard Designer top menu bar, click to open the supplemental menu.
  2. Click Download as... > PDF.

    You can reach the same action using the icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select one of the following options:
    • Current sheet
    • One sheet per page
    • One visual per page on current sheet
