Deleting a visual

In Cloudera Data Visualization you can delete an unlinked visual from the system.

These instructions show you how to use the Delete action. Use Delete for unlinked visuals to permanently remove from the system. If you want to remove a visual only from the current dashboard and keep it available for use on other dashboards, use the Remove action. For more information, see Removing a visual.

To delete a visual, you must have Edit access to the dashboard that contains it.

  1. Open the dashboard in Edit mode.
  2. Hover over the visual you want to delete and click the Supplemental menu in the top-right corner the visual.
  3. Click Delete Visual.
