Editing a visual

In Cloudera Data Visualization, you can edit an existing visual to update its configuration, data, or appearance.

You must have Edit access to the dashboard that contains the visual to be able to edit it.

  1. Open the dashboard that contains the visual in Edit mode.
  2. Click the visual to select it.
    The VISUAL menu appears in the right-hand panel.
  3. Click Build to open the Visual Builder panel.
  4. Make the required changes.
  5. Optional: Click REFRESH VISUAL to preview your changes while making your edits.
  6. When you are satisfied with your edits, click SAVE in the top-left corner of the Dashboard Designer.
