Upgrading a shared Cloudera Data Explorer (Hue) instance

If you are on an older version of the shared Data Explorer service, you can upgrade the Data Explorer image version by upgrading Data Explorer from the Shared Data Explorer Service page in Cloudera Data Warehouse.

  1. Log in to the Cloudera Data Warehouse service as a DWAdmin.
  2. Click the Shared Data Explorer Service option from the left navigation pane of the Cloudera Data Warehouse UI.
  3. Locate the shared Data Explorer service instance you want to upgrade and click Upgrade. The Upgrade Shared Data Explorer Service modal is displayed.
  4. Click Upgrade.
    The shared Data Explorer service is upgraded to the latest available image version.
