Disabling Impala catalog high availability

You enable catalog high availability when you create a New Virtual Warehouse. You cannot turn on, but you can turn off catalog high availability after creating an Impala Virtual Warehouse. You turn off this feature by editing your Virtual Warehouse.

Log in to the Data Warehouse service as DWAdmin.
Go to the Virtual Warehouses tab and click > Edit.
The Virtual Warehouse Details page is displayed.
Go to the Sizing And Scaling tab and disable the Enable Impala Catalog Server HA option.
Click Apply Changes.
