Fixed issues in Cloudera Data Warehouse on cloud
- DWX-24552: Virtual Warehouses encounter ImagePullBackOff due to diagnostic tools image version incompatibility
- Previously, the Cloudera Data Warehouse server applied an updated
cloudera/diagnostic-tools image repository name for all Virtual
Warehouse deployments regardless of their pinned Cloudera Data Warehouse version.
For Virtual Warehouses pinned to versions prior to Cloudera Data Warehouse 1.13.0,
the underlying charts still referenced legacy static tags, such as
:v1.6. Combining the new repository path with older static tags
resulted in unpublished image coordinates, causing the
jvm-dump-shippersidecar container to fail with ImagePullBackOff errors.This issue is now fixed. The diagnostic-tools image name is version-gated against the pinned Cloudera Data Warehouse version of the Virtual Warehouse. Older Virtual Warehouse deployments are correctly routed to the appropriate legacy diagnostic image repository, preventing image pull failures across Hive, Impala, and Trino Virtual Warehouses.
