Deleting a collection
When a collection is no longer needed and has no flow definitions associated with it, you can delete it to keep your catalog organized. Removing unused collections helps you maintain a clear structure for your flow definitions and access controls.
- Make sure you have the DFCollectionAdmin permission to perform this task. For information on account and resource roles, see Cloudera Data Flow authorization.

Go to
Data Flow > 
Catalog.

Select the collection you want to delete and click
[More] > 
Delete.
If there are flow definitions associated with the collection, you receive a warning message and the confirmation button remains inactive. Remove all flow definitions from the collection and then proceed with deletion.If there are no flow definitions associated with the collection, the Delete button becomes active.
