Downloading NiFi application log

You can download the NiFi application log from the Deployment Manager to use it for troubleshooting.

This feature allows you to download the NiFi application log that is currently being written. As the log file is rotated and the old file is archived once the file size reaches 10 MBs, this is the theoretical maximum you can download using this method. You need DFFlowAdmin permission to perform this action.

Open by clicking the tile in the sidebar.
Click Deployments from the left navigation pane.
The Deployments page is displayed, by default the Deployments tab is active.

You can customize this page view by using the Deployment Status, Flow Status, Environments, Projects, Metrics window, and Items per page options.
Select a deployment to expand the Deployment & Flows pane where you can view deployment details, KPIs, system metrics, alerts, and event history information. This is the view where you can also access flows on that specific deployment.
In Deployment & Flows, click > .
You are redirected to the Deployment Manager page.
Click Actions on the Manage Deployment page.
Select Download NiFi Log.

The current NiFi application log is downloaded to your computer in tar.gz format.
