Deploying CDH 5 on a Cluster

  Note: Do the tasks in this section after installing the latest version of CDH; see CDH 5 Installation.
To deploy CDH 5 on a cluster, do the following:
  1. Configure Network Hosts
  2. Configure HDFS
  3. Deploy YARN with MapReduce v2 (YARN) or MapReduce v1 (MRv1)
  4. Also see, Centralized Cache Management in HDFS
