This CDH 5 Quick Start Guide is for Apache Hadoop developers and system administrators who want to evaluate CDH, Cloudera's 100% open source platform containing Apache Hadoop and related projects. It describes how to quickly install Apache Hadoop and CDH components from a Yum, Apt, or zypper/YaST repository on a single Linux node in pseudo-distributed mode.
