Refreshing Cloudera AI Inference service using the UI

The Cloudera AI Inference service relies on a complex certificate trust chain across multiple Kubernetes namespaces, in Cloudera AI on premises. 1.5.5 SP1 and higher releases.

The Refresh operation ensures that the service remains synchronized with the latest certificates and proxy configurations specified in the Cloudera Management Console.

When triggered, the Refresh process performs the following actions:

  • Fetches and applies updated certificates from the Cloudera Management Console to all Cloudera AI Inference service deployments that rely on the certificate chain.

  • Validates and synchronizes proxy configuration changes across the cluster by retrieving the latest proxy settings from the Cloudera Management Console and updating all relevant components.

Run the Refresh operation whenever certificates are uploaded or rotated, or when proxy settings are modified in the Cloudera Management Console, to ensure the seamless operation of Cloudera AI Inference service.

  1. In the Cloudera Management Console, click the Cloudera AI tile.

    The Cloudera AI page displays.

  2. Click AI Inference Services under ADMINISTRATION in the left navigation menu.
    The AI Inference Services page displays.
  3. For a selected Cloudera AI Inference service instance, click from the Actions menu and select the Refresh option.
    The Confirm window appears.
  4. Click the OK button.
