Prerequisites - Workbench requirements

Service Account prerequisites for Agent Studio require specific service entitlements, administrative roles, and a machine user configured as a project collaborator.

You must meet the following requirements to run a workload as a machine user:

  1. Entitlement check - Your environment must have the MLServiceAccountM2 entitlement enabled.
  2. Authorization requirements – The logged-in user must have Site Admin and Project Admin roles to access the Service Account feature.
  3. Individual machine user requirements – An individual machine user must meet the following requirements to serve as a valid collaborator:
    • The machine user flag must be set to true.
    • The machine user must not be deactivated or banned.
    • The machine user must be a direct collaborator on the project.
    • The machine user must have operator or admin permission on the project.
  4. Team-based permissions – When an active machine user collaborates on a project as oart of a team, the machine user permissions are determined by the following project settings of the team:
    • If the project permission of the team is set to inherit, the machine user must individually have operator or admin permission.
    • If the project permission of the team is set to operator or admin, the machine user directly inherits the team-level permissions.
