Create Azure Data Lake Containers

In CDP, you need to provide Azure Data Lake containers, which hold hierarchical file systems for logs and data. Create these first in the Azure portal.

  1. In Storage account overview > Data Lake Storage > Container, click + Container.
  2. Enter a name, such as logs.
  3. Set Public access level to Private.
  4. Repeat the steps above to create a container for data.
  5. Copy the locations of these storage containers for use in the environment setup.
The locations take the following format:
    • abs://logs@cmldemo
    • abs://data@cmldemo
