Restarting runtime services (stale-config restart)

This page describes the customer-facing "restart runtime services" operation for Cloudera Data Hub and Cloudera Data Lake. Use it when Cloudera Manager (CM) reports that services on the cluster are running with stale configuration. Common stale configuration triggers include:

• A cross-realm Kerberos trust setup.
• After the application of a configuration override.
• Whenever the Cloudera Data Hub or Data Lake details page displays a services are running with stale configurations warning.
