Setting up the DNS Forwarder

When using Windows Server 2025, you must use the Windows Server GUI to set up trust settings.

1. Open the DNS Manager.
2. Right-click your DNS server’s Conditional Forwarders and select New Conditional Forwarder....
3. Provide the Cloudera-generated DNS Domain and IP Address values from the trust setup instructions panel.
   You can ignore any error messages.
4. Click OK.

You have successfully set up the DNS forwarder.
