Enabling/disabling TLS/SSL for Phoenix, Kafka, or Impala services

Use Cloudera Manager to enable or disable TLS/SSL for supporting services such as Phoenix, Impala or Kafka using the Cloudera Observability service configuration property.

Environment safety valves allows you configure environment variables across the service and affect all components of Cloudera Observability.

In a supported web browser on the Cloudera Observability cluster, log in to Cloudera Manager.
Select Clusters > Observability > Configuration and filter by SCOPE > Observability (Service-Wide) and CATEGORY > Advanced.

For the Observability Service Environment Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) property, enter the following values:

Click Save Changes.
Select Actions > Restart to restart the Cloudera Observability service.
