You must generate access credentials from the Cloudera Observability
Connect Cluster option. You can then save the generated Altus access
key ID and private key into a file to use for your cluster connection. This process ensures
you have the necessary authentication to link your environment to Cloudera Observability.

Log in to Cloudera Observability UI.

From the Environments page, in the top right corner,
click Connect Cluster to generate an access key for Cloudera Observability.

On the Add New Cluster Connection page, click Generate Access Credentials.

Save credentials into a file in the format given:
cdp_access_key_id=[*** Generated Altus Access Key ID***]
cdp_private_key=[***Generated Altus Private
Key***]
This file will be used in the next section.
