Troubleshooting Realtime Monitoring (RTM) data flow
If you configure the proxy in the OpenTelemetry Collector and do not see the metrics or data on the Cloudera Observability UI, you must check the OpenTelemetry Collector logs for errors at the following locations.
Log File Locations
- Data Hub (Cloudera Manager version 7.12.0.300 and higher or 7.13.1.100 and higher) and Cloudera Base on premises (Cloudera Manager version 7.13.1.500 and higher): /var/log/cloudera-scm-agent/otelcol.err.
- Data Hub (Cloudera Manager version 7.12.0.200 and lower): /var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/otelcol/otelcol.err.
