Logs and Metrics location

Locate OpenTelemetry Collector error logs and access self-observation metrics on the gateway host.

Log Location

OpenTelemetry Collector error logs are stored on the gateway host at the following file path: /var/log/cloudera-scm-agent/otelcol.err

Self Obs Metrics

To access self-observation metrics, run a curl command on the gateway host using the following URL: http://localhost:8092/metrics
