This section lists major features and updates for the Replication Manager service in CDP Private Cloud Data Services.

CDP Private Cloud Data Services 1.5.0 is the first release for Replication Manager. Replication Manager is a service to copy and migrate HDFS data, Hive external tables, and Ozone data between CDP Private Cloud Base 7.1.8 or higher clusters using Cloudera Manager version 7.7.3 or higher.

You can perform the following tasks in Replication Manager:

Create and manage HDFS replication policies to replicate HDFS data. For more information, see HDFS replication policies.
Create and manage Hive replication policies to replicate Hive external tables. For more information, see Hive replication policies.
Create and manage Ozone replication policies to replicate Ozone data. For more information, see Ozone replication policies.
