Configure ulimit for HBase using Cloudera Manager

You can use Cloudera Manager to configure ulimit.

  1. Go to the HBase service.
  2. Click the Configuration tab.
  3. Select Scope > Master or Scope > RegionServer.
  4. Locate the Maximum Process File Descriptors property or search for it by typing its name in the Search box.
  5. Edit the property value.
  6. Restart the role.
  7. Restart the service.
