Modifying the session cookie timeout value in a CDP Private Cloud Base deployment

By default, the session cookie expire in 86400 seconds (or 24 hours). Depending on your organizational requirement, you can increase or decrease the session cookie timeout duration from Ambari. To modify the session cookie timeout duration:

  1. From Cloudera Manager, go to Clusters > DAS > Configurations and specify the timeout duration in the Webapp Session Timeout field.
  2. Save the changes and restart the required services by clicking Action > Restart.
