Prerequisites for enabling GS File Browser in Hue with RAZ in Cloudera Data Hub
First, you must register your Google Cloud environment with Cloudera with the Enable Ranger authorization for Google Cloud Storage option enabled. Next, you must set up Ranger policies for fine-grained access control for your user and Google Cloud Storage (GS) buckets.
- Log in to the Cloudera Management Console as an Administrator.
- Register a GCP environment with the Enable Ranger authorization for Google Cloud Storage option enabled. You can complete this task using the Cloudera web interface or the Cloudera CLI.
- Create a Cloudera Data Hub cluster with a Cloudera Data Engineering or Data Mart cluster template.

Create the following Ranger policies:
- Grant appropriate permissions to the users in the Cloudera User Management Service (UMS). For example, EnvironmentUser--grants permission to view Cloudera Data Hub clusters and set the workload password for the environment.
