DAS requires a PostgreSQL database for storing query event information. During the
installation, uncheck the Create Data Analytics Studio database
option.

- Cloudera no longer provides support for any managed Postgres instances on
production clusters. However, you can use the managed Postgres database for
running a POC. It is strongly recommended to use a custom PostgreSQL
database for production environments.
- Supported PostgreSQL database versions: 9.6 and 12. For
simplicity, this documentation provides commands to install and configure
Postgres database 9.6. You can use the commands to install Postgres 12.
