 5.9.1. WebHCat status alert

This alert is triggered if the WebHCat service cannot be determined to be up and responding to client requests.

 5.9.1.1. Potential causes

  • The WebHCat server is down

  • The WebHCat server is hung and not responding

  • The WebHCat server is not reachable over the network

 5.9.1.2. Possible remedies

  • Restart the WebHCat service using Ambari Web.
