Use the following instructions to start the NameNode:
Start NameNode process.
service start hadoop-namenode
Start the NameNode monitoring agent and register it with vSphere.
service start hmonitor-namenode-monitor
Verify that the monitoring process has started.
service status hmonitor-namenode-monitor
