Chapter 5. Upgrade Ambari
This document describes the procedure for upgrading Ambari, before upgrading the Ambari-managed IOP cluster to an Ambari-managed HDP cluster.

Migrating to HDP-2.6.3 requires Ambari-2.6.0. To migrate an IOP-4.2.0 cluster, you must upgrade Ambari to version 2.5.2 and then to Ambari-2.6.0 before migrating to HDP-2.6.3. To migrate an IOP-4.2.5 cluster to HDP-2.6.3, upgrade Ambari to version 2.6.0, then migrate to HDP-2.6.3. |
